OPEN CALL: XJAZZ! SHOWCASE

XJAZZ! ANNOUNCES A SHOWCASE AT FLUXBAU ON 11.5.2024 FOR THE YOUNG SCENE GEMS!

XJAZZ! is committed to support newcomers of the Berlin scene and to provide them with the opportunities on building their careers. So, this year we dedicate a special stage to give a voice to the young artists.  

XJAZZ! SHOWCASE is an event where we encourage young artists with different backgrounds to present their music to the like-minded crowd and industry professionals. This year, on the 11.5.2024 we're providing a dedicated space at FluxBau for them. Selected through an online application process artists will have 15-minutes performance time on our semi unplugged stage and a special merchandise space to present their art after the show. 

We understand the importance of networking and building connections in the music industry, so we are offering artists the opportunity to connect with industry representatives and other members of the music community. Whether you're looking to secure your next gig, collaborate with like-minded artists, or simply expand your network, XJAZZ! SHOWCASE is the stage to apply for! 

So, here's how it works! If you're a band or an artist with a unique sound and a passion for jazz you need to: 

·       be available with your band on 11.5.2024 

·       fill in the application form accurately, which is opened for two weeks

·       provide active links 

·       note that the backline on the stage is following: 

       -        drum set 

       -       bass amp 

       -       guitar amp

       -       keyboard Nord Stage 

       -       3 mics
