The first album of Berlin based contrabass player Paul Kleber is the result of all the compositions that have emerged in his home in the past ten years. Together with Tobias Backhaus on drums, Uri Gincel as vocals and on the piano and long time collaborator Sebastian Studnitzky the quartet gives birth to a very personal sound that has been fueled by Paul Klebers myriad of collaborations over the years with greats just as Fink, Micatone, Moka Efti Ensemble, Nina Hagen, Nightmares on Wax, Lisa Bassenge, Mark Murphy, Emiliana Torrini, DeeDee Bridgewater and many more. Expect a highly versatile sound that draws inspiration from the vast musical landscape of the better part of four decades.
