Brazilian composer, producer and arranger Ed Motta embodies this standalone sound for more than three decades. His highly personal vibrantly peculiar tunes have fostered a loyal gathering back at home but even more so around the globe. South and North America, Japan, Europe – you name it, he has taken the stages by storm around the globe. As a master of groove and rhythm it comes to now surprise that he has played with Motown greats just as much as with jazz legends, ie. Roy Ayers, alike.
