After a 10year break Bugge Wesseltofts restarts his iconic New Conception of Jazz in connection with the band and record label Jazzland 20 year anniversary. Hitting of back in 1996 really created a new and fresh boost for european jazz music together with artists like Erik Truffaz(fr) and Nils Petter Molvaer(no). Keyelement were the mix of electronic clubmusic and live jazz. New Conception of Jazz became the definition of Electronic Jazz. The band took a break after 10 years of worldwide touring,400 concerts and 5 albums, “New Conception of Jazz”(1996), Sharing (1998), Moving (2001), Live (2003), Filming (2004). Hitting 2016 its time for a fresh start kicking of Jazzland Recordings and the groups 20 year anniversary, with all new young musicians. “Members are among nor ways most promising new musicians” says Bugge “and we are all so exited to play again”.
