Berliner JugendJazzOrchester

The Berlin Youth Jazz Orchestra is honored to perform at the XJAZZ! Festival for the first time this year, bringing the current sound and groove of jazz to the stage with original compositions written especially for the ensemble by bandleaders Fabia Mantwill and Nicolai Thärichen. Since its recent reformation, the BJJO features a unique and innovative lineup combining a big band, string quartet, and four vocalists.
