Kapote

Kapote is the DJ name of Toy Tonics-, Gomma- and Kryptox- music creative boss Mathias Modica. 

Kapote discovered and produced songs and albums of artists like WhoMadeWho, Peaches, James Murphy, Coeo and Cody Currie. After being one of the key figures in the indie dance scene of the 2000s with his project Munk and (in the meantime sleeping) record label Gomma, he now runs one of the world's biggest dance labels (Toy Tonics) and the new uprising German jazz label Kryptox. 

Described by Pitchfork as "one of the most important figures in German dance scene" and nicknamed by Worldwide FM as "the Wes Anderson of electronic music" Kapote is spreading positive vibes and quality music for 15 years.
