Frank Wiedemann, founder of the legendary label Innervisions and also one half of Âme as well as Howling with RY X and Schwarzmann with Henrik Schwarz, presents one of his most heartfelt projects - Bigamo Musik. The label is dedicated to all the virtuoso sound artists whose unconventional electronic harmonies are not necessarily at home on the dancefloors of this world, yet are undoubtedly balm for the soul and a musical delicacy.
Keope is an artist collective working between Berlin and Presniča, led by multi-instrumentalist Toni Bruna and producer Marcus Rossknecht. Their recordings capture the spirit of their powerful live performances, improvising around melodic and rhythmic circular patterns with a reduced tool-set around a guitar, drum-machines and a modular synthesizer. Keope’s music owes something to multiple genres and reference points - from folk, Balearic, psychedelic and electronica, but none really fit well. Their signature? Bold hypnotic grooves, deep bass lines and evolving guitar loops.
Listening to Al Pagoda for the first time usually strikes a chord with people; the synth layers are strong, iconic, like a childhood memory that’s long been dormant. Originally from Valencia, Spain, settled in Berlin in 2015, where he started working as a composer for movie soundtracks. During these years he experimented with new sounds and recording techniques. His music is a reflection of this transitory struggle, a dreamlike journey of luminous memories that emerge from the dark corners of his mind.
